Photographic tour from Lhasa to Nepalese border is a part of an ancient Tea and Horses Road, sometimes called as West-south Silk Road. The road takes you across Tibet plateau and The Himalayan Mountains. Pictures show places along this road with harsh country and rough people. Here in such high altitude people do everything, which we can't even dream of, with ease.
However western and ironically chinese communist civilization has spoilt their pure spirit. Along the road you can find people of all ages begging for Juangs (Chinese currency) and exaggerating charges for services or even small favours. The only positive energy radiates from monks and pilgrims on their pilgrimage to holy places as well as you can feel it in buddhist temples.
In my opinion a Chinese flag on the roof of Potala Palace, a ban to even talk about 16th Dalaylama, presence of Chinese army and chinese attitude makes this country gray and sad. Thanks to this the spirit of this holy buddhist country is nowadays somewhat smaller, small perhaps like a flame of yak butter candle easily to be blown out.
